Drugs and Alcohol and the Society

Drugs and alcohol are harmful substances that when abused affect a person’s state of mind. When a person is under the influence of either drugs or alcohol (or both), they have a feeling as if they are in another world and as a result they are more inclined to committing crimes or having an accident. A lot of warnings have been made about the harmful effects of drugs and alcohol to the body but despite all of that, it seems like the abusers don’t seem to listen. We still hear violence or accidents related to drugs or alcohol abuse almost everyday. Though we might not be able to really eliminate the abusers of these substances, we can at least detect them and probably help the people with drugs and/or alcohol problem so that they will not be a menace to the society.
